WAYS TO CONNECT

Interested in connecting at VOX? There are a few different ways to do that.

CHECK OUT A Sunday

One of the best ways to connect is just to show up at one of our Sunday gatherings. We usually have coffee and donuts, and a few times a month, we make space in the ‘service’ for people to process that week’s content. That’s how most folks plug in and meet a couple people for the first time.

SIGN UP FOR A TEAM

VOX is an all-volunteer organization. We don’t have any paid staff, so the community is dependent on people chipping in to lend their talents and time. There are certain areas we always need help, but honestly, we’ll take all the help we can get. If you feel like connecting, nothing beats doing stuff together.

Start something UP

At VOX, we’re intentional about not filling up the calendar with dedicated programs and ‘ministries.’ Basically , we don’t want to build an inward-facing community or load people down with unspoken participation expectations.

BUT we also do want to make space for community members to thrive – to be creative and start things up independently. Want a small group? Make it! Want to have a monthly picnic for the ladies? Get a sign-up going.

YUP, There’s a Facebook group

Everyone has feelings about social media. But we at least have a functional group on Facebook where people in the VOX community can connect and share updates. It’s called Life Around the Table. You can join the group and get in the mix.
