CARE at VOX
At VOX Community we highly value our people's need for emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical care. This next year we are developing additional resources in efforts to support your journey toward healing and understanding. Currently, we have a few options for beginning your journey and addressing some of the needs you may have.
This year we are excited to offer you new workshops related to the mental, emotional, and spiritual care needs at VOX Community. We have partnered with The Freedom Center, a new facility that exists to provide different forms of counseling, coaching, and spiritual care for the local community.
These workshops are hosted by Karrie Garcia where she will provide training on many different topics over the next year. RSVP is helpful for us to plan for hospitality purposes, but not necessary for attendance.
These trainings are not only beneficial for those looking for insight into steps regarding their own personal care, but also as tools for you and how you learn to care for those in your own spheres of influence and community around you.

Over the past two years we've developed a team of Community Pastors who act as our core leadership for the community. Their role is to serve directly along side you, providing home visits, hospital visits, officiate weddings and funerals etc.
It is our hope, that our people ultimately see these folks as their pastors and friends. Caring for our people beyond expectation, praying constantly for you and our church, and becoming the unmistakable representation of peacemaking in our neighborhoods.
The Community Pastors serve as volunteers (unpaid) in conjunction with the Staff, meeting quarterly to keep in step with vision and direction for the organization. These folks are currently hand selected from our Sunday Teams who have shown excellent character traits that align with VOX's core values.
